Shipping policy

Cleveland Music Co. ships orders from the United States. Available shipping destinations and shipping methods are determined at checkout. If a destination or shipping method is not offered at checkout, we are unable to ship the order using that service.

Order processing

Most unassembled kits and in-stock items ship within 2–3 business days. Products requiring assembly or additional preparation may require up to 10 business days before shipment.

Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.

Shipping rates and delivery estimates

Available shipping methods, rates, and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout based on the destination, package, and services available for that order.

Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. International shipments may also be delayed by customs processing or other circumstances outside Cleveland Music Co.'s control.

Some international services may use more than one carrier during transit. The carrier accepting the package in the United States may not be the carrier that completes final delivery.

International duties, taxes, and import charges

International orders are handled in one of two ways depending on the destination and shipping service available.

When duties and import taxes are collected at checkout, those charges are prepaid as part of the order. Cleveland Music Co. will ship the order using a service that supports prepaid import charges. The customer should not normally be required to pay those same duties or taxes again upon delivery.

When duties and import taxes are not collected at checkout, the order is shipped with import charges unpaid. The recipient is responsible for any VAT, customs duties, taxes, brokerage or disbursement fees, handling charges, or other import-related costs assessed by the destination country or carrier.

The absence of duties or taxes at checkout does not mean that none will be due upon import.

Import rules and charges are determined by the destination country and can change without notice. Cleveland Music Co. cannot predict or control charges assessed after shipment when they have not been collected at checkout.

Customs declarations

International shipments are declared accurately using the actual contents, value, and country of origin of the merchandise. Cleveland Music Co. cannot declare merchandise at a lower value, describe a commercial order as a gift, or otherwise provide inaccurate customs information.

Refused or unclaimed international shipments

The recipient is responsible for accepting delivery and, when applicable, paying import charges assessed at the destination.

If an international shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned because import charges were not paid, a refund can be considered only after the merchandise has been returned to Cleveland Music Co. in acceptable condition.

Original shipping charges are not refundable. Any return transportation, customs, brokerage, handling, or other charges incurred in recovering the shipment may also be deducted from the refund.

Address accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Please review the address carefully before submitting an order. Additional shipping costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete customer-provided address may be the customer's responsibility.

Tracking

Tracking is provided when supported by the selected shipping service. International tracking detail varies by carrier and destination and may become less detailed after a shipment leaves the United States or is transferred to another postal or delivery network.

Insurance, Loss, and Damage

Shipping services may include limited carrier liability or insurance coverage, while other services may provide little or none. The amount and terms of any coverage vary by carrier and service.

Customers should review the tracking and delivery characteristics of the shipping service selected at checkout and choose a service appropriate for the value and importance of the order.

If a shipment is lost or damaged, Cleveland Music Co. will pursue any available carrier or insurance claim as appropriate. Claim eligibility and reimbursement are subject to the applicable carrier or insurer's terms, limits, documentation requirements, and deadlines.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cleveland Music Co. is not responsible for carrier delays or for losses exceeding the liability or coverage applicable to the selected shipping service. Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
