Well, I held out as long as I could. After months of absorbing rising costs due to government tariffs and related supply chain issues, the price of the Hothouse had to be raised. Effective 31 October 2025, the price of the kit is now $119 US. The assembled pedal is now $159 US. These increases are necessary solely to cover the tariffs and nothing else. We will continue to deliver the quality and level of service you expect.
I hate doing this. I truly do. The goal of the Hothouse has always been to make learning DSP programming accessible to anyone at a low-cost, high-value price point. So, any price increase—especially those outside of our control—is regrettable and feels counter to the mission. But I still believe the Hothouse is an exceptional value and I hope you do as well.
